MONGEWELL PARK

Posted on: 22nd July 2014

Our Mongewell project near Wallingford, which is the converson of a 2.6 hectare historic manor site and the former Carmel College Jewish school to housing, has been submitted as a planning application.  The site has interesting links to Major William Price and Uvedale Price, leading figures in the picturesque landscape debate.  The proposals include the restructuring of the site, refurbishment of the existing manor and iconic buildings by Sir Basil Spence and Thomas Hancock and the re-creation of lost parkland areas.
